Catherine Long was born at Woolwich, England in about 1805 and she died at Dandry Station near Coonabarabran, NSW on 9 January 1871. Her first husband James Grime was born at Bolton, Lancashire on 5 October 1796 and died at the Benevolent Asylum in North Melbourne, Victoria on 1 March 1869. They were married on 20 August 1827 in the Scots Church, Sydney, NSW. They separated in about 1833 and she later married William Carlow. James is buried in an unmarked grave within the Melbourne General Cemetery in Parkville, Victoria. William Carlow died on 22 April 1858 at Coonabarabran. Catherine was buried on 11 January 1871 on Dandry Station near Coonabarabran.
